I've been going on sailing trips for the last few years and recently I just finished my first sailing adventure around Abacos in the Bahamas.
The most impressive thing for me was the water.....The vast areas of beautiful blue water mostly due to the shallow nature of the area. We sailed in a 45 foot Catamaran that was , to me, the most luxurious vessel I have ever taken a sailing trip on!
My good friend Dave was our Captain and his vast knowledge of the area made for perfect visits to various Cays where we either hooked to a mooring ball or dropped anchor.
We sailed, swam, paddle boarded, ate great local faire, and partied.
